One of this year's expected Samsung smartphones is Galaxy A54 5G, the successor to last year's mid-range hit Galaxy A53 5G. Here's everything we know about him so far.
Design and specifications
From the renders leaked so far, it appears that Galaxy The A54 5G will look exactly the same from the front as its predecessor. This means that it should have a flat display with a circular cutout and a slightly more prominent bottom bezel. On the contrary, the design of the back should change - according to the renders, it will "carry" three cameras (the predecessor had four), each with a separate cut-out (the predecessor used a large module for the rear cameras).

Unofficial informace talks about that Galaxy Compared to its predecessor, the A54 5G will have a smaller display (6,4 vs. 6,5 inches), which should otherwise have the same parameters, i.e. FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone is said to be powered by a chipset Exynos 1380, which should be complemented by 8 GB of operating memory and 128 or 256 GB of expandable internal memory.
It should be powered by a battery with a capacity of 5000 or 5100 mAh, which will apparently support 25W fast charging. It is practically certain that the equipment will include an under-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, NFC and that the phone will have water resistance according to the IP67 standard.
Cameras
In terms of camera, it should Galaxy A54 5G bring one significant change (if we don't count one missing rear camera), namely the reduction of the resolution of the main sensor from 64 to 50 MPx. However, despite the lower resolution, the new 50MPx sensor should be able to take noticeably better pictures in poorer lighting. It should be seconded by the same 12MPx "wide-angle" and 5MPx macro camera as in the predecessor. The front camera is said to be 32 megapixels again.

Price and availability
Galaxy According to new unofficial reports, the A54 5G will be sold in Europe for 530-550 euros (about 12-600 CZK; 13+100GB version) and 8-128 euros (about 590-610 CZK; 14+000GB version) ). It should therefore be slightly more expensive than its predecessor. It was originally thought to be (along with s Galaxy A34 5G) launched on January 18, but that didn't happen (this date was actually set aside for the launch of the phone Galaxy A14 5G to the Indian market). Lately, there has been talk of March in the "backrooms". We can imagine that Samsung will unveil the phone at MWC 2023, which takes place at the turn of February and March.
