Samsung Galaxy The S23 Ultra is supposed to be this year's flagship in the field of smartphones with Androidem, which will provide unrivaled performance but also the best cameras. However, the renowned DXOMark photographic quality test did not give it the top rungs of its ranking. It loses not only to last year's Google Pixels, but even to last year's iPhones.

The DXOMark ranking is still dominated by the Huawei Mate 50 Pro, followed by the Google Pixel 7 Pro and the Honor Magic4 Ultimate. The first here has 149 points, the second and third have 147 points. The potato position belongs to the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, when both models have only one point less. At the same time, we can already find last year's iPhones on the 7th place, that is iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, which have 141 points. Samsung Galaxy However, the S23 Ultra received only 140 points, which means that it belongs to 10th place, which it also shares with the Google Pixel 7 and the Vivo X90 Pro+ (Galaxy S22 Ultra with Snapdragon is on the 17th place, with Exynos even up to 24th together with iPhonem 12 Pro Max).

DXO liked the consistent performance of the camera in all its functions during the test, which according to the editors makes it a great and versatile camera. They also praised the very good photo rendering, which provides a high level of detail, very good autofocus for both photos and video, which allows you to capture the right moment in most lighting conditions. He also praises the performance of telephoto lenses.

On the other hand, I don't like the noticeable loss of photo details in low light, a certain shutter lag when shooting in low light, and the instability of exposure and focus, especially in backlight. The camera score is thus 139 (the highest is 152), blur 70 (the highest is 80), zoom 141 (the highest is 151) and video 137 (the highest is 149). Overall, when photographed in low light, the top of Samsung earned 106 points, where the highest is 122.
