Android 15 is not to be released until next year, but it has already been leaked what it will be called. Its "dessert" name will be Vanilla Ice Cream.

U Androidu has a long tradition of naming each of its versions after desserts, working its way up the alphabet. Since Android Cupcake in 2009 to Android Pie in 2018, Google often had fun publishing these dessert names and including them in the name of each version of its system.

This practice changed with the release Androidat 10, on which the difficult letter Q came out and which finally remained with a simple number. Internally, however, Google each version Androidcontinues to refer to some sweet treats by name – mentioned Android 10 "tastes" like Queen's Cake (or Queen Elizabeth's Cake).

Later this year (very likely in August) Google will release Android 14, which has long been known to use the "dessert" codename Upside Down Cake. The American software giant recently released its first developer preview. Among other things, the system should bring improved functionality dual SIM, return back possibility view screen time in battery usage statistics or fix menu for sharing.
