VCX Forum, an independent non-profit organization that reviews smartphone cameras, awarded the phone Galaxy S23 Ultra top rated. The camera system of Samsung's current top flagship received 69 points out of 100, which may not sound like much, but according to the organization's scoring system, it is enough to place it at the very top. It's a clear difference from how the phone's photo lineup was rated in DXOMark.

Galaxy The S23 Ultra has an "excellent" rating. It outperformed all other devices with Androidem and iOS, inclusive Galaxy S21 to Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Asus Zenfone 8, iPhone 13 For Max and iPhone 14Pro Max.

These results are very different from those of the camera Galaxy The S23 Ultra scored in a recent web test DxOMark. Here, the phone was placed only in 10th place, finishing, among other things, behind last year's Pixels and last year's iPhones.

Galaxy The S23 Ultra is the first Samsung smartphone to feature 200MPx camera. It is followed by a 10MPx periscope camera with 10x optical zoom, another 10MPx telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 12MPx ultra-wide-angle lens. The phone is capable of recording videos in up to 8K resolution at 30 frames per second, as well as 4K/60 fps and super slow motion videos in FHD resolution at 960 fps.
