The war between Microsoft and Google on the battlefield called artificial intelligence continues. Microsoft may have been the last to announce the new features of its Bing AI product, but its news is a bit more tangible. 

Microsoft on its own blog announced that it will release a set of new features to its Bing service. The aforementioned features will bring videos, knowledge cards, charts, better formatting and social sharing capabilities to Bing Chat. One of the many new features will be the Bing Chat widget designed for your phone. This feature that will be available for systems Android i iOS, thus allowing users to access artificial intelligence directly from the home screen. According to Microsoft, it will be launched this week.

Another feature announced is cross-platform conversations. The one, which Microsoft says is available now, allows users to start a Bing conversation on a desktop and continue it on a mobile phone, and vice versa. In addition, the company is expanding the number of countries where voice input is available. The number of supported languages ​​has also been expanded.

The Edge mobile web browser has also received an update. The latter mainly gets contextual chat. According to Microsoft, the feature will allow users to ask Bing Chat questions about the web page they're currently viewing or simply summarize it. Users will also be able to select text and have Bing provide more details about that topic. 

Updates to Skype and Swiftkey were also mentioned. This announcement comes on the heels of reports of Google working on its own Bard widget. However, unlike Microsoft's widget, Google's widget is expected to be exclusive to its own Pixel phones.
