How we they expected, it didn't take long for Garmin to introduce a duo of running watches, the Forerunner 165 and Forerunner 165. They have GPS, AMOLED and a battery life of up to 11 days. The price is not the lowest, but still lower than u Forerunner 255, so they will surely find their fans.
In both cases, it is a direct successor to the model Garmin Forerunner 55, which were already introduced in 2019. However, the novelty will offer a 1,2" AMOLED display with a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels, which is certainly a welcome upgrade from the outdated, although practical, but rather unsightly MIP display. Even so, Garmin managed to maintain a super endurance that will give you 11 days in smartwatch mode and 19 hours when tracking activity with GPS.
In addition, the Forerunner 165 Music model will provide access to music streaming platforms such as Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music – using wireless headphones, of course. It also provides audio prompts so you'll be aware of your training without having to look at the watch display.
