Google maps pro version Android received a new beta update that brings small but useful improvements. The app now allows you to sync your phone's 3D building settings with your settings while navigating Android Auto.

3D buildings have been part of Google Maps for some time, but only this year did Google start showing them in navigation. This is now the default behavior across platforms Android Car a CarPlay and works like that on Androidui iOS.

In the latest beta update of Map pro Android (version 125) the ability to view 3D buildings now syncs between your devices. As spotted by 9to5Google, the "Show 3D Buildings" toggle in the Settings menu now syncs between the phone and Android Car. If you turn this setting off on your phone now, the same setting will supposedly apply to Android Auto.

As the site points out, this only applies at launch. If you toggle the switch from your phone while in active use Android The car, apparently nothing will change on the car's display. However, at the time of connection, it will Android Auto reflect whatever is set in Maps. This enhancement is currently only available in the new beta version of Maps. It should reach the general public in the coming weeks.
