Drawer apps within Samsung's One UI superstructure traditionally store apps on pages and require swiping left or right to navigate. Although One UI does not support vertical page scrolling, there was an option in Good Lock's Home Up module that allowed users to change the horizontal layout.

However, after a recent update, the Korean giant removed this option from the Home Up module. Now, however, it seems that this option is on phones Galaxy will return and will not need the aforementioned module to function.

According to the moderator of the Samsung community forum responsible for the development of the Good Lock app, the next version of the operating system will bring the ability to scroll vertically in the app drawer. By "the next version of the operating system" he apparently meant z Androidu 15 coming One UI 7.0 superstructure. The moderator revealed this information when answering a user's question about the possible return of this option to the Good Lock Home Up module.

Google recently released the first bitu Androidu 15 and should release more before this year's I/O developer conference, which is scheduled for May 14. A few months after that, Samsung could open a beta program for the One UI 7.0 build for its current flagship series Galaxy S24 and some other top devices. The stable version of One UI 7.0 could then start to be released sometime in the fall (according to some unofficial reports, it will be at the turn of October and November).
