Samsung is set to introduce new foldable smartphones later this year Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, and possibly a lightweight model of the new Z Fold with a moniker FE. Now, the new Z Flip has appeared in a popular benchmark that has revealed some of its key specifications.

Galaxy Z Flip6 appeared in the Geekbench 6.2.2 benchmark this week. Listed here under the model number SM-F741U, the device is said to (expectedly) use the same chipset as the series Galaxy S24, i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This was paired with 8 GB of RAM in the test unit, but according to some unofficial reports, the new Z Flip will also be offered in a variant with 12 GB of RAM. Addition the benchmark revealed, or rather confirmed that Galaxy Flip6 software will run on AndroidAt 14 (most likely "wrapped" by the upcoming One UI 6.1.1 superstructure ).

The benchmark did not reveal device performance in single-core and multi-core tests, only performance in the Vulkan graphics API. Specifically, it amounts to 15 points (the graphics chip of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is Adreno 750).

The next puzzles of the Korean giant are likely to be launched early years. Together with them, Samsung is to present a new watch series Galaxy Watch7 and officially a smart ring Galaxy Ring.
