Since last year, there have been reports circulating on the air that on the displays of some phones Galaxy green lines appear. Samsung officially responded to this in some markets by offering a free one-time display replacement for devices after warranty. The company has been offering these display replacements on select models since last year in India and has now expanded the list of supported devices to include Galaxy S21 and S22.
In the past, the problem with green lines was mainly reported by users of smartphones with Super AMOLED displays. Reports of it have resurfaced recently, highlighting the fact that even more devices are affected, requiring Samsung to extend the free display replacement offer to more models.
Samsung's Indian arm has been providing free display replacement for affected devices since July last year. Until now, eligible devices included series Galaxy S20 and Note20, and now the ranks are joining them Galaxy S21 and S22. Just like last year, all devices will also be offered a free battery replacement, but this offer seems to end soon, on April 30th.
You have encountered the above issue on your device Galaxy you too? And how did you solve it (post-warranty)? Let us know in the comments.
Well, after the S22 series, I wonder who bought a new flag and didn't go to Apple instead.
I bought the S23 128GB, I had the S22 before it and I am satisfied with the three. Now you could buy a new one for 11, a great price for a great phone. 24 is probably only an ultra, but we'll see what Samsung will push for the next year. It's nice to buy a flag for as little as possible and keep it for a few years and then pass it on to the family. But I wouldn't risk it with an A series.
On S21. Purple stripe. The authorized service told me that my phone had been dropped and refused to recognize my warranty. The official Samsung representative supported the service and gave me the middle finger. Never again…
