Honor presented its new Honor Magic 2022 flagship series at MWC 4, consisting of the Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro models (speculations about the Magic 4 Pro+ model were not confirmed). The novelties attract large screens, a high-quality rear camera, currently the fastest Snapdragon, or fast charging, and the more equipped model also boasts super-fast wireless charging. They have to flood first of all Samsungs Galaxy S22.

The manufacturer equipped Honor Magic 4 with an LTPO OLED display with a size of 6,81 inches, a resolution of 1224 x 2664 px, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a circular hole located at the top in the middle, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and 8 or 12 GB of operating and 128-512 GB of internal memory . The camera is triple with a resolution of 50, 50 and 8 MPx, while the main one has omnidirectional PDAF and laser focusing, the second is a "wide-angle" with a 122° angle of view and the third is a periscopic telephoto lens with 5x optical and 50x digital zoom and optical image stabilization. The front camera has a resolution of 12 MPx and boasts an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 100° angle of view.

The equipment includes an under-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, IP54 degree of protection, support for UWB (Ultra Wideband) wireless technology, NFC and an infrared port. Of course, there is no lack of support for 5G networks. The battery has a capacity of 4800 mAh and supports 66W fast charging and reverse charging with a power of 5 W. The phone, like its siblings, is powered by software Android 12 with Magic UI 6 superstructure.

As for the Pro model, it got the same screen size and type as the standard model (and the same refresh rate), but its resolution is 1312 x 2848 px and it has a pill-shaped cutout on the top left, also the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip or 8 GB of operational and 12 or 256 GB of internal memory, the same first two rear cameras as the sibling, which is complemented by a 512MPx periscopic telephoto lens with 64x optical and 3,5x digital zoom and a ToF 100D depth sensor, the same front camera, which is seconded by another ToF depth sensor 3D (also serving as a biometric sensor in this case), the same equipment (with the difference that the under-display reader is ultrasonic here, not optical, and the degree of resistance is higher – IP3) and a battery with a capacity of 68 mAh and support for 4600W wired, equally fast wireless, reverse wireless and 100W reverse charging.

Honor Magic 4 will be offered in black, white, gold and blue-green colors, the Pro model will be available in orange in addition to the mentioned four. The price of the basic model will start at 899 euros (about 22 crowns), the more equipped model will start at 600 euros (roughly 1 CZK). Both will be launched in the second quarter of this year.
