Samsung smartphone Galaxy The Note Edge was introduced on September 3, 2014 along with the Galaxy Note 4. It featured a display that was curved on the right side of the device and could be used as a side panel to display app shortcuts, a virtual camera shutter button, notifications and other information. Galaxy The Note Edge has a similar design to the Galaxy Note 4 (which in turn is an evolution Galaxy Note 3), with a metal frame and a plastic leather back cover. It was equipped with SoC Exynos 5 Octa 5433 (South Korean version) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (international version), 3 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of expandable storage. Like other devices in the series Galaxy The Note includes an S Pen stylus that can be used for pen input, drawing and handwriting.
